Ok so half of the year is gone, if it went quick that is good but if slow then not so much. Anyway after much strangeness and spamming this year so far has been great. With mpi104 I learnt a lot about using web space and sites such as blogger, delicious which I still believe is kind of useless and Flickr which is my favourite so far because of the freedom of being able to put pictures up. Blogger also does this to an extent but is still a site for blogging not posting pictures.
Other things that we have learnt is Iweb, a program that using a predetermined web space generates a template for a website that you design, we have also learnt how to use ftp and rss feeds. Ftp (file transfer protocol) is a generate web space which we used in conjunction with iweb to produce our own websites on any topic of our choosing. This had to include an rss feed which is used to update frequently published works, usually in blogs, the reason why we need it I presume.
When starting on a new program or blogging site with having no experience is confusing at first but with some help and time it becomes easier and you don’t find yourself behind in class.
That’s all from me for now so remember to look at my new Flickr posts, some of the demos are good.
